Situated on a natural spring of 36 hectares of magnificent indigenous land and 1000 palm trees, in a village bordering Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Florence Palms offers a unique blend of cultural history and contemporary 4star service. 

The founder of the farm, Florence Ntombi Futhi (1949 – 1994) bought the farm in 1981.  She was very hard-working and entrepreneurial women.  The natural springs used to be a source of water for the surrounding villages and the farm. It was bought and commercialise which created jobs for many of the local community. 

The resort opened 2016 and shortly after gaining momentum, it was affected by the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.  Even though the resort took a major business knock, through team work, we gratefully  managed to retain all our employees without needing to retrench anyone.
